Love is not cancelled !

With COVID-19 affecting all aspects of life in the last three months and cancelling most gatherings, I got sad that the DC Pride Parade was cancelled as well.  I know the importance of this month not only for the LGBTQ community but also for those that support love in general.  Furthermore, the civil unrest with the protests of inequality against our communities of color goes to show that there is still so much hatred and bigotry to overcome.

Since most events have been cancelled, I wanted to make sure I sent a message to all of you.  This message is that love should not be cancelled and that love should be celebrated every single day.  Love is what eventually will bring equality to those who are marginalized and treated unfairly because of their race, sex, color, religion, and sexual orientation.  Until we reach that point, we all must do our part to support this fight for equality.

PRIDE MONTH CELEBRATION

Even though the DC Pride Parade was cancelled, I wanted to do my part to celebrate none the less by collaborating with one of my close make up artists in the area, Emily Bravo.  Emily is not only a great friend, but she is a young entrepreneur that I admire and that I enjoy working with.  She is a true professional, has great artistic vision, and is always available for any project that will bring awareness to a cause.  Much love to the LGBTQ community and please continue to stay safe out there everyone!
