Trip to London!

If you are planning on visiting London, here is a list of places that you have to visit (I am adding pictures, videos, some popular spots and others not-so-touristy) as well as a list of restaurants ranging from street food to 2 star Michelin rating.

This was a solo trip for me, with direct flight from DC on United Airlines. London/Heathrow airport is far from the city, but it is really easy to get to through their subway (they call it “The Tube”) and so much cheaper than taxi or Uber. I personally use Uber all the time, I walk a lot and I love to learn how to use the railway systems of the places I visit, so I checked out all means of transportation while there.
The hotel I stayed in is the Leonard Tower Bridge, located in Central London. It is a super chill spot, easy to get to, clean, comfortable and with a gym 😉
I was there for five nights, and it was more than enough to visit without running around, I was not rushing at all. It was a perfect getaway to reconnect with myself, rest and eat a lot.
In most places you need to make reservations ahead of time (for lunch and dinner).
Places:
Big Ben
Telephone boxes
Red bus
UK Parliament
London eye
Tower bridge
St Paul’s – rooftop view
Soho
Waterloo vaults (uno de mis favoritos)
Leandenhall market
Greenwich park (it is a little far from the city but it’s a must see)
Restaurants:
Breakfast club
Nora cafe
White berry
Garden
Leo
Enoteca da luca
Marcus (Estrella Michelin)
Da Terra (2 Estrellas Michelin)
