As you all know I love outdoors activities 馃檪 specially during summer time. This past weekend I took my family to Harpers Ferry which is really close to the DMV area (1 or 2 hours the most) There are a few activities that you can try and here are the details of what we did.
We stayed at the Clarion Inn, a nice and calm hotel that has renovated rooms with upgraded TVs, nice lobby, breakfast included and a cool restaurant called White House Tavern; we had juicy burgers.
We took a walked during evening hours to check the view and also the town and the scene was so pretty that pictures do not make justice of how wonderful the place it is. The walk, the bridges, the little ice cream stores, everything is perfect to hang out with family and friends.
During the day we had different options of doing outdoors activities with River Riders, you can choose from water rafting, kayaking, aerial or tubing depending of what exactly you want to join; we did tubing and it was so relaxing but at the same time super fun!聽 Everything is safe, people are friendly and the ride is wonderful, I totally recommended. Como ustedes ya saben a mi me encantan las actividades al aire libre, especialmente si son durante el verano. Este fin de semana que paso tuve la oportunidad de llevar a mi familia a Harpers Ferry, un lugar que esta super cerquita del DMV, mas o menos entre 1 y 2 horas dependiendo donde te encuentras. Hay muchas actividades para divertirse y aqu铆 les dejo los detalles.
Nos quedamos en el hotel Clarion Inn, un hotel super tranquilo, familiar con cuartos renovados, television, desayuno incluido y un restaurante muy chevere en donde comimos unas hamburguesas deliciosas (yo una veggie)
Por la tarde fuimos a caminar y conocer el pueblo y me encant贸, es una ciudad antigua con tiendas muy lindas y unos puentes enormes, la vista al rio es espectacular y una caminata al aire libre durante el atardecer fue una super buena idea.
Por la ma帽ana decidimos ir a hacer varias actividades con River Riders, puedes elegir cualquier actividad en el agua y todas se ven super divertidas; nosotros fuimos tubing y la experiencia es 煤nica, son como 1 hora y media en el agua, relajados y disfrutando de la vista.
